GOLD SUPPLY
THREATENED SHORTAGE. (British Official Wireless). RUGBY, November 4. The Chancellor of the Exchequer Mi- Philip Snowden, informed the House of Commons, that he had received the interim report off the Gold Delegation of the Financial Committee of the League of Nations which bore on the possibility otf the future supplies of new .gold proving inadequate to meet the world requirement measures were suggested to meet such an eventuality. These were international in scope. The Committee had not yet completed its investigations. No action would be taken until recommendations had been made.
