THOUGHTS FOR THE TIMES
SAVING HABIT GROWS. • '] Thrift is not easy these days with the many attractions and the great variety of entertainments to act as temptations for spending, and it is not an easy matter to develop the ha-bit of saving in a community. However, once many people discover that they can save, the habit gjows, and becomes easier each year. Although the younger people often find the habit irksome, they have only to start saving and they are ensured of an ample reward later in lice, when perhaps they may be in need rf money. Money earns money and each small amount saved and put in the bank will bring in a greater 'return each year. ' 1
