The loan estimates for 1930-31 were passed by the Assembly. Premier Hill said there were two alternatives open to tho Government. One was to balance the Budget, or a repudiation tm>l icy which he would never support.. Mrs Hill praised the work of the Loan Council, which lie said was more than ever necessary at this critical period.
