There is a possibility that F. Grose, the Christchurch cyclist will be sent to Australia to compete in the cliampionsh p meeting to he held, it is understood, ill Sydney. Speaking at a meeting of the New Zealand Amateur Athletic Association this evening, Mr T. Guy suggested that the Canterbury ('(.litre should be approached, asking for its views, while a letter could lie sent to the Cyclist’s Union also, suggesting that perhaps it might be able Lo secure an invitation for Grose to compete in Australia.

A record given official recognition was that of Miss Evelyn Hoyle, who rail o() yards in a ladies’ race at the Waipnkaraii Spurts on November 29 lasi in six and one tenth seconds.
