An author who had just published ,-i, very dull book went to his publisher to find out the number of copies that had been sold. “Oh, er, I’d rather not say just at present,” said the publisher, but on being pressed he told the author that, the sale amounted to three copies. “J say. that’s good.” said the author, delightedly. “Someone must have bought one, because my wife and I bought the other two.”
