A striking expression of confidence in Australia’s future, despite the present complications, is embodied in a “Financial Times” editorial which expresses satisfaction at the triumph of moderate opinion at the Federal Caucus, stating this implies honouring the pledge given by Mr Scull in.
It adds that it will be necessary for capital and labour to move more or less on parallel lines.
