In the amateur contest between Cath.ro and H. Black, both are making few mistalieis, playing, well under adverse conditions, Black had a lapse at the tenth and fifteenth holes. Short mitting is his weakness. Horton did the round" in seventy-four against J. L. Black. He is playing a igreat game. ‘ Black is little behiir him. Black abandoned the fifth and seventh holes and was three down at the fifteenth.. He made up the leeway to he only one down at the end of the round.
