He added that the. New Zealander was a-sportsmaii who wanted to back his own house and felt an elementary right in putting his goods on the market for a. test on merit and quality,'which; wa,s denied him. New Zealand 'butter was never sold to the public as such. It was sold simply as pure butter, for which the retailer got a higher price. Without marking an order there would bo no incentive to sell as New Zealand butter.
