MONEY OFFERING
FROM AUSTRALIA. [By Telegraph, Per Press Association.] DUNEDIN, October 30. The Gity Council received an inquiry from a Melbourne firm of stockbrokers debentures available for sale, and replied offering thirty five thousand sterling of gasworks debentures, with interest at five and a. quarter, for a term of thirteen years. A prompt reply was received by cable accepting the offer. The Council has now offered to increase the amount to forty five thousand.
