(Bv Telegraph—Press Association). DUNEDIN, October 29. Three new' records established in connection with Otago Boys’ High School sports, held to-day. In the senior long jump, R. G. Polly covered 21ft 1 Uins, beating his own record of 20ft. s£;-in, established last year. The high jump record of 4ft. 8-Jin, established by D. R. L. Stevenson in 1917, was broken by two competitors in the Junior Cup event, J. V. Stark, clearing -lift, llins, and P. Clark 4ft. 9in.
In the 220 yards Junior Cup event, A. B. Betting reduced the record from 26sec to 25 2-s,sec. The previous record was established by C. S. Clarke in 1921, and equalled by T. W. Neill in 1924.
