PURCHASE FOR N.Z
LONDON. October 28
The New Zealand Government has completed the purchase of a new building in the Strand, formerly occupied by the British Medical Association. No decision has been reached whether they will move the. High Commissioner’s office, but in this event extensive alterations would lie necessary. The Comissioner’s office was formerly crowded, but with the reduction of staff, consequent on the suspension.of migration sufficient room has been left.
Mr Forbes is expected to : deal with the whole question, but unless a renewal of migration necessitates re-enlarg-ing tbe staff, the High Commissioner is likely to remain in the present building.
