Love of money is at the bottom of all the youthful troubles in “Second Choice,” the absorbing Warner Bros, and V rtaphone screen May which comes to the Princess Theatre to-night and Thursday. Dolores Costello, star of the all-talking picture, is—against the will of her mother—in love with a poor young man who returns her affection, until a certain rich girl temporarily alienates him and introduces real tragedy into their lives. Another lover, himself recently jilted, appears on> the sicene. When the young man realises his mistake, it is too late. Miss Costello's 'supporting cast in “Second Choice” includes Chester Morris, Jack Mulhall,. Edna Murphy, Charlotte Merriam, Ethlyne Olair, Edward Martindel, Jimmy Clemmons, Henry Stockbridge and Anna Chance. Joseph Jackson did the adaptation of the Eilizabeth Alexander story.
