EARTH TREMORS. (Australian Press Association A SYDNEY, Oct. 28. Pronounced earth tremors, causing little damage are reported from west and south-west portions of New South Wales. Buildings trembled at Canberra at 12.50 p.m. Members of the Federal Cabinet became excited, and Sought information, but there were no instrument's at the local observatory, which could enlighten them. Reports from Yeas, Borrowa, towra, Bathurst, Canowindra, indicate buildings were severely shaken, wal.s cracked and glassware crashed. The residents, were seriously alarmed as it was quite a new experience to them.
