COCKBURN MURDER
TRIAL ON WEDNESDAY WEEK. (By Telegraph—Per Press Association.! CHRISTCHURCH, October 2.8 Alfred James Stanley Colenso will be tried at the Supreme Court to-morrow week, on a charge of having murdered Robert William Cockburn on September ,‘l at Coleridge. A true bill in this ca.se was returned by the Grand Jury at the Supreme Court thin morning. The Crown Prosecutor stated that Arthur Edward Earquharson one of the prinicipal witnesses for the Crown was unwell. The adjournment of the hearing was therefore agreed to .
