In the presence of His Majesty, four Empire Premiers, Messrs Scullin, Forbes, Bennett and Squires were sworn in ns Privy Councillors. ' AIR SCULLIN.
The newly elected New South Wales Ministry like all other Australian Governments will honour its obligations, said Air Scullin to an interviewer, who asked the possible effect of the elections on Australian credit. Air Scullin said Air Lang during the election campaign declared against any suggestion of repudiation, and after the election Mr Lang emphatically announced that all obligations would be met, that principle being generally accepted by all Australian Governments. STOCKS DOWN.
Commonwealth and New South AVales stocks were marked down two -mints all round as a precautionary nrnsure, following Afr Lang’s success. PRINCE ENTERTAINS.
Air Forbes and Sir T. Sidey dine with with the Prince of Wales at York House to-morrow night.
