BOY STRUCK
BY AUCKLAND BUS
(By Telegraph—Per Press Association. ’ ' AUCKLAND, October 22. ' Running out into the street on his way home from Epsom School this afternoon, a six year old boy, Milton Galloway, whose parents reside at Epsom, was knocked down by a Buckland Road bus, which was travelling along the drive at Epsom towards the city. The boy was severely injured, and was taken to the Auckland Hospital, suffering from concussion, wit 1 ' the added possibility of a fractured skull. His condition late to-night was
reported to be very serious. A motor car was drawn up alongside the pavement outside the Epsom School, and the hoy run out from the gates in front of the ear. which blocked the vision of the bus driver, who was unnble to pull up in time, to avert the accident. The boy was struck by the radiator of tbo bus, and was thrown heavily on to the road. Fortunately the wheels of the bus did not pass over him.
