Charges of being unlawfully on licensed .oremis\s after hours were dealt with as follows: An offender (Pioneer Hotel). Fined 40s and costs 10s. Two offenders (Post Office Hotel). One fined 20s and IQs costs, the other to pay costs 10s. Five residents (Kokatahi Hotel), Ordered to pay costs 12s each. The Police charged Edwin T. Sherri ff, licensee of Kokatahi Hotel (Mr Murdoch), with exposing liquor for nale and opening his bar after hours, A plea of (guilty was entered to the first charge, the other being withdrawn. Convicted and fined £2 and costs 12s. The Police charged P.t So liter on two charges of procuring liquor while prohibited, Fined £5 and costs ,10s oil otte charge'and ordered to pay :osts 10s on the other, . without a light. ,D.
