Wiesmann has sent a letter to Lord Passfield announcing his resignation from both the Zionist World Organisation and the Jewish Agency for Palestine but he is convoking a Congress of both bodies, because he says, “the Palestine Report sterilises the hope of the Jewish people regarding a national home for them in Palestine, particularly Hie conditions of land settlement for new migration.”

The number being turned down from Australia and New Zealand is due to the fact that the new regulations have apparently not been explained there yet.
