CANADIAN CROPS
UNDER SNOW

OTTAWA, October 20.
One-third of tlie wheat crop in tlie province of Saskatchewan is under snow, and is unthreshed. Similar conditions prevail in the province of Alberta.
It is stated by Mr George Williams, the President of the United Farmers of Canada, Saskatchewan Section, that a general conference of the Western Canada agriculturalists will be held to discuss the situation and to provide means for its amelioration.
