In the House of Representatives, the Disalbled Soldiers Civil Re-Estab-lishment Bill and ‘Waimakariri River improvement Amendment Bill were put through all remaining stages and passed. • Finance Bill (No. 2) was introduced by Governor-General's message and read a first time. Amendments to tlie following Bills / were introduced by Governor-Gener-i al’s message and read a first time— Reserves and Other Lands Disposal Bill, NurSes and Midwives Registratien Amendment Bill, and National Art Gallery and Dominion Museum Bill. The ’ Supplementary Estimates were also introduced by Governor-General’s message. The House rose ot 12.35 a.Yn.
