New Zealand, with .24 years’ service, walked up and asked him if he could help him to obtain work. ' i . Lord Jellicoe immediately recalled that Brennan had been with him on his round the world trip after the war. He delayed his next engage-; ment in order to dictate a letter of recommendation describing Brennan as “an old shipmate of mine.”
