AY. Tate commenced.
Inspector Fraser conducted the prosecution for the police, and the pris. oner wa s represented,by L. M. Moss. It was agreed to take the inquest v simultaneously with the trial. . ; Mute witnesses of the- tragedy were the .bloodstained clothes’ of . deceased which - were; referred to by Dr. G. -H. Thompson in .the: course of his evidence,.' and describing the': position ’of the body as' he found it 'when .called to the scene of the tragedy at 3.22 in the'morniitg and t'he nature and extent of the wounds inflicted.’ • ■’- V 1 Bernard C. McCabe, draughtsman of the Lands- and Survey 1 gave evidence as to a plan of the House.
