CROSSING TRAGEDY. ELEVEN VICTIMS. (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.) PARIS, October 13. A train from Lyons collided with a motor coach at a level, crossing near Morestel. Four were killed, and seven were seriously injured. DOPE SEIZURE. A RECORD AMOUNT. HONG KONG, October 13. At the weekend, revenue officers recorded, the biggest seizure of herion ever known in Ilpng Kong. Information received from London, believed to be associated with the world-wide campaign, initiated by the League of Nations resulted in officers searching the tramp steamer Hilda, under the Italian, flag, from, Trieste. Fiftytwo cases were discovered marked “jam,” cleverly packed, the value being estimated at half a million dollars. It is believed to be the work of an international dope ring. i
DRAMATIC SUICIDE

LONDON, October 13
The most dramatic suicide , was committed .from a, suspension bridge at mid-night when an unknown, woman flung herself 240 feet into the, river. After a quarter, of an hour’s battle with two men who tried to prevent her, she struggled, so furiously that her flimsy clothes began to tear. She cried: —“It will he better for my husband.” She finally slipped through her clothes and disappeared with a great splash. Her body has not been recovered. The only clue to the woman’s identity is a discarded fur collared coat.
