In 1 the ■ House of Representatives, , amendments to the reserves and other lafids disposal (Washing Up) Bill were introduced, by Governor General’s message. Arm s Amendment Bill and Canterbury College Bill were introduced by Governor General’s message and read, a first time. NatiVe Trustee Bill was introduced by Governor General’s message and read a -first time, and also read a second time pro forma and referred to the' Native Affairs Committee. Amendments made by the Legislative Council to the National Art Gallery and Dominion Museum Bill were agreed to. The fallowing Bills were put through the remaining stages and .passed. Statutory. Land Charges Registration Amendment Bill (Hon. Ransom). Nativfe Land Amendment and Native Land Claim Adjustment Bill (Sir A. Ngata). Reserves and other Lands disposal Bill (Hon. Ransom). Apprentices Amendment Bill (Hon. Smith) Stock Amendment Bill (Hon. Murdoch). The: evening session was occupied by a debate on the second reading of the Lanjd Laws Amendment Bill which was interrupted by the rising of the House at midnight. ‘
