' The final acceptors for the Caulfield Cup are: Amounis, Second Wind, So-' l.utipn, Waicullusy Lineage, Cragford, Shadow King, El Rey, Kenny, Tlip Gay Mutineer, LampraV John Buchan, Dalston, Muratti, Quickfirer, Aleman, ’ King Quex. ' Phar Lap was scratched for the Caulfield Cup at 1.5 p.m:^" 11 PHAR LAP’S MISSION. SYDNEY, October 13. The scratching of Phar Lap -from. the Caulfielid Cup to-day has caused a sensation. It is regarded as practically certain that Nightmaroh would have accepted for that race with PharLap out of the way. Phar. Pap’s last minute withdrawal has bepn a severe shock to his admirers. It is now certain that his mission to Melbourne is the Melbourne Cup.
