SPANISH UNREST
ARREST OF AGITATORS. (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.) (Received 8.30 n.m.) MADRID, October 12. The arrest of the Catalian Syndicate, the Republican agitators, indicates the Government, which is mobilising machine gunners in the province centres, is strongly repressing those desirious of subverting the regime. The prisoners include four editors and the aviator Ramon Franco, who flew the South Atlantic in 1926 and who is believed partly responsible for Primo de Riv-. era’s downfall. Many trade unionists and several deputies have been arrested in Barcelona.
