WRESTLTNG.

A ROUGH ANT) TUMBLE BOUT. (By Telegraph—Per Press Association.). DUNEDIN, Oct. 12. A bout in which Bill Edwards (13.0) of Canada., defeated Tom Ray (12.8), of the - United States, in the Town Hall last night, as the most sensational yet staged in Dunedin, and was watched by a record crowd, which became wildly enthusiastic. The bout was full of hutting, punching, kicking and hair-pulling. Ray, on one occasion, pulled Edwards’ nose twice. Bay fell clean out of the ring. He did 'all of the attacking, and appeared the cleverer wrestler, but Edwards was never hard-pressed. Neither man could secure a fall, but the ending came in the sixth round, when, infuriated by a seirieis of rabbit punches, Edwards secured Ray with a headlock, and crashed him four times to the mat, Ray being unable to continue. • The bout ended in an uproar, and if there was any cheering for Edwards it was drowned by hooting and hissing. Ray, on the other hand, was enthusiastically cheered as he left the ring. KOSTONARIS V. COLEMAN. SYDNEY, Oct. 12. At the Stadium, in the wrestling match betw r een Kostonnris (13.10>) and Coleman (14.0), a draw 7 was declared, each securing a fall, but the critics consider that the Greek scored the honours, and should have won.
