The Legislative Council met at 2.30 yesterday. , The Council disagreed with the amendment made by the House in the New Zealand University Amendment Bill,, and set up a committee to draw up reasons to submit to the House. The Council rose at 2.40 p.m. till 10 a.m. on Saturday morning. THE HOUSE. The House of Representatives resumat 7.30 p.m. A motion to commit the Native Lane! Amendment and Native Land Claims -Adjustment (Washing Up) Bill was adopted. Imprest Supply Bill No. 4 was introduced by the Governor-General’s message in the evening and after a very lengthy debate was put through all stages and passed. The Bill involves apnmnriations to the amount of £2,* (38,503. The House rose at 4.20 a.m. till 2.30 p.m. on Monday.
