WOOL SALES. SYDNEY, October 7. At the wool sales 11,532 bales were offered, and 9,689 were sold, including 256 which were disposed of privately. All the better class wools met with good general competition, and realised about late rates. This also applied to good skirtings, but faulty sorts were difficult to sell, and there were heavy withdrawals. Greasy merino made 16d.
