SAN FRANCISCO, October 3. Gordon Stewart Northcroft, wh murdered a dozen boy victims in his inhuman lust, himself died to-day on the gallows in the San Quentin Penitentiary, where his mother is serving a life sentence for participation in his strange crimes. Northcroft died, as he lived, a supreme faker. He collapsed as he faced the gallows. Up to that moment he had pretended he would escape the noose, but when lie ijaw death only seconds . away, he fainted and' was carried to the ; lows.
