WILL NULLIFIED

EXCLUSION OF DAUGHTER. AUCKLAND, September 29. The extraordinary , action of, an Auckland woman who had made a will within an hour or two of being certified by doctors as a mental case was nullified by his Honour Mr Justice Reed in the Supreme Court. In her will the woman made all her property (amounting to about £200) over to the Presbyterian Church, exeluding her daughter from benefit: and two days after she was committed to the Auckland Mental Hospital. She had been in an institution just over a year, with the exception of a short time while she was out on license, when she died in June of this year. Application to have the wiljl declared invalid was brought by the daughter and was not opposed by the authorities of the Presbyterian Church. His Honour granted the application.
