RUGBY, Sept. 26,
General C. G. Dajves, American Ambassador, visited Belfast to-day as tlie guest of the officers of the Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers. During. the afternoon he was shown oer the Queen Island shipbuilding works, and was entertained by the Prime Minister of Northern Ireland, Lord Oraigavon, at Stormount Gastle.
LABOUR-LIBER AL MEETING

The Labour-Liberal conversations on the unemployment question, were continued to-day, when Mr Lloyd George accompanied by the Marquis of Lothian and Mr Seebolim Rowntree called. at No. 10 Downing Street and had an interview with the Prime Minister, Mr Ramsay MacDonald, and the Clranceilqr of the Exchequer, Mr Phillip Snowden.
