; At the Albert Hall, the English middle-weight champion, Len Harvey outpointed the American, Dave Shade, in fifteen rounds. The winner is promised a world’s title in the match, against the American Nick Walker. The ex-amateur heavy-weight, Desmond Jeanes, formerly a member of the Dion Boueicaults company touring Australia knocked out the Frenchman Josef Thomas in the third round of a six round bout. It was an exhilirating bout in which the frenchman was down for eight in the second round. HEENEY OUTPOINTED. NEW YORK, September 29.
At Wilkesbarre, in Pennsylvanna, Frank Cawley outpointed Tom Heeney in a ten rounds boxing bout.
