During a lively discussion, at a meeting of the Commission dealing •with, economic problems, Mr Coleman exchanged words with Monsietif Plandin (French Minister for Commerce) who supported 'tile attitude of * Warsaw agricultural conference.--15 LK)Ctor Liddell r (Canada) proposed and Afr Coleman seconded, a motion objecting; to the report .in which States aye urged to ratify a commercial‘convention drawn up 'in' March. M. Plandin said the Dominions attitude wais-,an attempt to destroy the concerted action .of European States. Eventually the report was adopted, with' the- Dominions strongest objection officially* recorded in the minutes. /
