SIR 0. NIEMEYER
RETURNS TO SYDNEY
(Australian Press Association)
SYDNEY, September 29
- Sir Otto Niemeyer, interviewed here upon his return to Autralia to-day, said that he had found New Zealand a, very nice country. The Government had arranged several outings, and he saw some of the prettiest scenery in the world. His only business in the Dominion was in relation to the banking question, upon which he had not yet reported. He added that New Zealand had not been affected to the same extent as Australia. Physically and mutually the Dominion was in a better position. It had escaped droughts, and its exports /were more varied. Sir Otto Niemeyer, who was in good spirits, was a great favourite with the children on board the Maunganui.
