EPIC CANOE TOUR
EXPLOIIMNG NORTHERN CANADA.
VANCOUVER, Sept., 12. After travelling 8000 miles in their own canoe, four young men, sons of Saskatchewan farmers, have reached Vancouver. They ..will continue down the Pacific coast to Panama, and around into the Atlantic, ascending the St. Lawrence and hoping, finally, to paddle home into; .Western • Canada again. Their trip, so far, lias \ been quite unique. There are tf hree . brothers named Fisher, and Charles Bruder. They paddled down the Peace and Mackenzie rivers into the Arctic, spent the summer along that coast, then ascended the Peel and Snake rivers, crossed the Rocky Mountain “pjvide” from Rat Rivet to the Bell, down the latter to the Porcupine and up ,the Yukon to White Horse and Skagway. Sjnce then they, have come south along the Pacific .coastline. They fought, timlber wolves on. two occasions and secured enough rare white fox furs to reimburse them for the cost of their amazing tfip.
