The Note points out ‘that such an importation would comprise, only * from one to two per cent, of, the United States crop, and that it. . would prove a solution to the United States stringent feed and grain shortage,; and .would aid the Argentine farmer, and also that, in view of the present relations of the two countries, such concessions would pave the way for, treaties of reciprocity. . .V v WASHINGTON, September 25. , The Argentine Government’s Note has, not.; vet; been received, here,. but - doubt is expresesd as ; to. whether the ~U.S..Tariff Commission willconsent to the proposed arrangement. i
