(Received this dav at 11 a.m.) LONDON, Sept. 23. There' was a large assemblage of d'i'-tihgu.ished people at the burial of Sir Neville Howse. The service was held at All Souls Chapel, Kensal Green cemetery. The coffin was covered with the Union Jack on a laurel wreath was inscribed from all the people of Australia, who loved him who served so well.

The Bishop of New Guinea paid an ©motional tribute to Sir N. Howse a.s a surgeon, soldier and statesman. He said courage and determination were Sir Neville’s outstanding characteristics.
