WOOL SALES. (Australian Press Association.) ADELAIDE, This Day. Wool prices at the first sale of the season Which has just closed were -irregular. Best wool was about five per. cent, cheaper than June sales and ordinary ten per cent easier. Thirty thousand bales were offered, the withdrawals totalling 20 per cent. AVHKAT PRICES. ADELAIDE, Sopt. 20.
Deputation of wheat growers asked Premier Hill to co-operate with other State Governments to try to stave off the crash in wheat prices. One speaker contended that on existing prices it would not be profitable to take off crops. Mr Hill agreed to the course suggested.
