CLASH WITH FRENCH FORCES

HONGKONG, Sept. 19
Reports here reveal the chaotic conditions in French Indo-China. and Anriani where (scarcely a day passes without armed clashes between native bands rebelling against French rule. The most serious incident from the point of view of casualties was last Friday at Vinh. an important north 'Annani centre, where army rebels, of hi any thousand, marched on, launching a massed attack. French fofees were .in readiness and employed a SqtiiVdron of military planes which checked the rebels. There was a lively encounter, the latter ■ leaving over one hundred dead and hundreds wounded.
