BANK’S SCHEME
TO POOL LONDON FUNDS. (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.] LONDON, September 17. THe “Financial Times” says that the financial circles regard the initiation of the scheme of the pooling of the Australian.bank funds in 'London, which are estimated at forty millions, as being one of the most important measures .yet introduced in connection with the crisis. It is believed this scheme, will remove all doubts of Australia’s ability to meet her commitments promptly and faithfully. It is satisfactory that the hanks’ decision was unanimous.
