HOCKEY
The local Hockey Club received word from -the Tinwald Club, A.shburton asking for . a match on Wednesday, September 24th. This hns been accepted by the Club, who will billet the visitors and .entertain them to aa Invitation Dance on Wednesday evening. Miss B, Millichamp who waa selected as one of the N.Z. representatives. to tour South Africa in 1929 which trip was cancelled owing to lack of: funds, will be one of the visiting players, so the local girls will have to fully extend themselves.
