At Ypres, on behalf of a group anxious to boom tourist traffic, workmen had begun to open up the famous Hill 69, scene of some of the fiercest lighting during the War, exposing, the subterranean galleries, which are still full of equipment. The project is resented by the relatives of British soldiers who were, blown up and buried on the hill.
