WHALERS RETURN. FROM SCANDINAVIA. (By Telegraph—Per Press Association WELLINGTON, September 13. The whaling ship “Kosinos,” en route from Sande Fjord, Norway, and accompanied by two chasers, is due at Wellington on Sunday evening. She will remain in port l'or a levy days, to prepare for her voyage to Ross Sea, where she will engage in whaling. This is the vessel's second trip to Ross Sea,; and the Antarctic whaling ground. Seven chasers attached to the Kosinos are berthed at Glasgow Wharf, avvaiting her arrival. The Kosmos will be the first whaler to arrive for the 1930-31 season. The Sir James Clark Ross and the O: A. The Commercial Travellers’ Association conducted a cash and clothes drive in the cty and the suburbs yesterday, and their, efforts met with overwhelming success.
