PRINCE IN GALE. DECIDES TO FLY CHANNEL. . LONDON, Aug. 28. . Although a 00-milc gale was raging in the Channel and all small vessels were sheltering from the storm, the Prince of Wales flew to Le Touquet (France). His ’plane landed at Lynipne (Kent) before crossing the Channel to obtain the latest weather report. It was expected that the Prince would proceed by steamer, but at the last minute he decided to fly. An R.A.F. flying boat accompanied the Prince’s ’plane as far as the French coast.
