THE RACE FOR THE AMERICA A , CUP. • . , BROADCASTING ARRANGEMENTS. Mr A. R. Hams, General Manager .of the Radio Broadcasting Company states: The Broadcasting Company has received advice from its consultant! in America that a description of the., first race for the America Cup, which is to take place between: noon and 5 p.m. on Saturday afternoon. (American Eastern • Daylight Saving time) will be broadcast. This time corresponds with the New Zealand .time of 3.30 and 8.30 a.m. on Sunday morning. All New Zealand stations f will, therefore he on the air for that w \ period and will' carry out a re-tbroad- ; orjrt,. atmospheric conditions permitting.
