Three great liners, instead of two, will comprise the new fleet of the Matson Navigation Company of Australia, in the South Sens run from San Francisco, The Company confirms the reports that the Bethlehem Steel Corporation is building three passenger and freight liners for them, each costing one million, seven hundred thousand pounds, for this service. Two of the liners are already being built. r J be third one will he 672 feet long. It will he lavishly appointed. This will be the first bid in an attempt to divert the traffic from Australia and the South Sea Islands; from Vancouver to Sau Francisco.
