MELBOURNE, September 4. The promising steeplechaser Kaitillin', was killed while schooling to day. The Victoria Racing Club lias cut tlie stakes for the Melbourne Cup meeting from thirty-five thousand five hundred to thirty-three thousand two hundred sterling.
