ANDREE’S REMAINS

A commission of experts made a day-long examination of Andree’s remains, assisted by a relative of Andree’s companion IFraenkel, named Wahlstroen, who arrived, to facilitate identification. The log (book and diary are being sent to Stockholm whjere Swedish authorities shall de’■fde on publication. I. The experts definitely identified the two bodies as Andfee and Strindberg, the diary being on iindree’s body,, 1 ; 'ANDREE’S DIARY (Received this dav at 1.30 p.m.) STOCKHOLM, Sept. 3. Andree’s diary reveals that Fraen Kel died while crossing the ice which they -were still doing on Sept. sth. Strihgdberg died after arrival at Giles Island, and was buried by Andree, who himself appears to have- succumbed after wrapping up the diaries carefully.
