NEW ZEALAND DRY DOCK. I TOWAGE CONTRACT SECURED. [United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. ] (Received this day at 12.25. p.m.) ROTTERDAM, Sept. 2. The L. Smit Company’s International Tug Boat Service has secured the contract to tow the New Zealand dry dock. Owing to the width of the dock, it cannot pass through the Panama Canal so it must go through Suez. Starting in July, 1931, the voyage will take about seven months.

The Prefecture of Police confirms an expulsion order has been served on William Randolph Hearst. It is understood owing generally to the hostile policy of his newspapers towards France. Hearst went to London. Interviewed there, lie said; — “I have no complaint to make. French officials make me feel quite important. They said I was an enemy and a danger to France, but I could stay a little longer if I wished. I replied I did not want to take the responsibility of endangering the French nation. America saved it during the war and I would save it again by leaving.’ RUGBY, Sept. 2 William Randolph Hearst, the American millionaire and newspaper proprietor arrived at London to-day from Paris, having been ordered by the French authorities to leave. This is understod to be the sequel to the publication by Hearst, two years ago, of a confidential French memorandum of which he obtained a copy. AN ESTATE. ' I LONDON, Sent. 2. Sir Wm.
